28 October 2022

Today is World Teachers Day, a celebration of the professionalism of all teachers and the work they do to support the learning needs of all students.

Internationally, World Teachers Day takes place on 5 October, but it is recognised on the last Friday of October in Australia. In this year’s message to teachers in the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ of Melbourne, a film has been prepared to share the experiences of teachers working in Catholic schools. Compiled from the ‘meet the teacher’ videos shared on the Melbourne ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Catholic Schools (ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ) website throughout the year, the film contains reflections and advice from a range of teachers. The complete set of ‘meet the teacher’ videos has now been collected on the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ website.
