Role Description/Criteria
St James the Apostle is an integral part of the faith community of Hoppers Crossing and is one of 4 parish primary schools.聽St James is governed under the authority of Melbourne 蜜桃视频 Catholic Schools Limited (蜜桃视频) ABN 18643442371. 蜜桃视频 is the employer of employees at St James.
We are seeking a Physical Education Specialist Teacher who is able to:
- Bachelor of Education or relevant tertiary qualification.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the values and ethos of a Catholic school
- Be aware of the 蜜桃视频 2030 Vision and the 'Vision for Instruction' framework
- Have a sound knowledge of PE and Sport, utilising the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 for reporting聽
- Have an understanding of assessment strategies
- Work collaboratively with other specialists and the school's Leadership team 聽
- Foster and develop appropriate professional relationships with students, staff and parents聽
- Be open to feedback and view themselves as a lifelong learner聽
- Prepare a year and term overviews for all home groups
- Maintain ongoing professional documentation of learning, teaching and assessment on Google Drive
- Contribute to future planning and policy.聽
Special Requirements
St James promotes the safety, well-being, and inclusion of all children; therefore, the successful applicant must demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to providing a safe environment for children.
- The successful applicant will hold the Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.
- Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or a willingness to complete this is preferred.
