Role Description/Criteria
Annunciation is seeking a Specialist Language Teacher. We currently have a Japanese teacher but am open to changing the language to suit the right applicant. This position is a Fixed Term, 0.2 聽position for 2025 with the possibility of being extended. We are hoping that the successful applicant will be able to work on a Friday as teachers use this time to plan together. There are four one hour classes plus an hour of planning time.
It is expected that the successful applicant will be:

- exemplary with their classroom management skills
- innovative about learning and teaching
- committed to building positive relationships with children and creating learning environments where all are valued and challenged
- committed to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of all students
- committed to ongoing learning and professional development
- prepared to be involved in extracurricular school activities
- accredited to teach in a Catholic school (or be working towards such accreditation)
- hold Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.
