Role Description/Criteria

St. Scholastica's Catholic Primary School located in Burwood is seeking an highly motivated, enthusiastic and friendly Arts teacher to join our school part time in 2025. The successful applicant will be required to:

  • support the Catholic ethos of the school
  • display a knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum The Arts
  • build and maintain positive respectful relationships with students, colleagues and parents
  • work flexibly and collaboratively within staff teams
  • have highly effective organisational and communication skills
  • be committed to professional learning and ongoing improvement
  • design and implement differentiated teaching strategies in response to assessed learning strengths and needs of the child.
  • Encourage students to explore various mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture and digital art.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes creativity, confidence and self-expression
  • Collaborate with other teachers to cater for all students.
  • Organise student artwork displays and exhibitions.
