Role Description/Criteria

St Andrew's Primary invites applications from suitably qualified and passionate teachers for the position of a full time classroom teacher.Ìý This is a permanent position commencing on 29th January, 2024.Ìý The school has an enrolment of 330 students.ÌýÌý

Experienced teachers are welcome to apply for this position.ÌýÌý

The teacher will promote the school as a place of learning and excellence in accordance with contemporary evidence-based practice and wellbeing principles and will ensure the ongoing development and implementation in line with the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Vision for Instruction 2030.

The successful applicant will:

  • actively support the values and ethos of Catholic Education
  • create a nurturing and ordered learning environment which is learner centred, supportive, cooperative and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices
  • differentiate learning for students according to their educational needs and abilities and are responsible for the creation of effective assessment practices and quality teaching programs

  • demonstrate the ability to use data to inform teaching and learning
  • demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of Religious Education

  • demonstrate initiative and a commitment to ongoing Professional Learning
  • model the Catholic and community values of the school and embrace families from diverse social backgrounds

  • at all times commit to Child Safety practices and standards.
