Role Description/Criteria
St John Vianney's invites applications from suitably qualified and passionate teachers for the position of a classroom teacher. The position is to begin on 28th January 2025.聽
The successful applicant will demonstrate :
- a willingness to support the values and ethos of Catholic Education
- strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- the skills and abilities to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience
- a collegial, team-based approach to learning and teaching
- the ability to use data to inform teaching and learning
- knowledge in the Science of Learning is favourable
- sound knowledge and understanding of Religious Education within the Primary School聽
- competent skills and pedagogy around Google applications
- a sound understanding of learning in an EAL community
- the ability to build positive supportive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
- initiative and a commitment to ongoing Professional Learning
- an understanding and commitment to Child Safety.
The successful applicant will have:聽
- VIT registration
- a current Police Check
- RE Accreditation or a willingness to complete聽
- a current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to undertake a First Aid Course).
