5 February 2025

Over the past week, we’ve welcomed students and staff to a new school year. Along with the excited new starters, several new principals began their Melbourne ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Catholic Schools (ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ) leadership journey.

Eighteen primary schools and one secondary school have begun 2025 with newly appointed principals. Fourteen of these leaders are new to principalship, and we look forward to enabling them to enrich and inspire their school communities.

‘I’m excited about working with teachers and children as we continue to achieve excellence and equity in learning and teaching, and journeying with families to create a sense of belonging and welcome which is at the heart of this community’, said Annabelle Marinelli, newly appointed principal of , Malvern.

‘I am most passionate about making a difference in the lives of each and every child, where every child is a blessing to be valued, nurtured and encouraged, and where they grow in their relationship with God and form lives of faith, hope and love in the light of Jesus Christ, as part of the faith community at St Joseph’s.’

Dr Napoleon Rodezno, new principal of , Braybrook, is excited to lead the school ‘as it continues to foster a diverse, inclusive and dynamic learning environment for all, ensuring that the college empowers young people to grow, excel and thrive in a supportive and engaging community’.
