Melbourne Cup visits St Mary鈥檚 School, Lancefield

St Mary’s School, Lancefield, was proud to host the iconic gold trophy as part of the 2024 Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour.
The visit included a blessing, some up-close time with Melbourne Cup-winning horses, and a horse-drawn coach down the main street.
Students excitedly took photos with the Cup and heard from jockey Damian Oliver about the history of ‘the race that stops a nation’.
TV’s Allan Raskall attended the event and caught up with principal Gabe Agius who shared her excitement and pride at showcasing everything that St Mary's and Lancefield have to offer.
