You can achieve anything in life
28 March 2024
Nazareth College, Noble Park North, has invested in the creative ambitions of its students with the opening and blessing of new and refurbished facilities.
A new food technology centre, maker space, media room and amphitheatre have re-energised the learning opportunities available to all students. ‘Our task has been to provide our students with facilities that they can continue to be educated in and, in the long term, that influence other students’, said Principal Sam Cosentino. ‘You can achieve anything in life that you put your mind to.’
Guests including Eden Foster MP, Member for Mulgrave, Cr Richard Lim OAM, Deputy Mayor of the City of Greater Dandenong, and foundation principal Paul D’Astoli joined the school community to celebrate the latest chapter in the growth of the college.
Following a whole-school Mass, Bishop Anthony Ireland blessed the new learning spaces, as well as a lift which provides accessibility to the college’s auditorium. ‘The world meets here at Nazareth’, said Bishop Anthony, ‘and you enrich our society and our Catholic community with the faith and experience that your families have brought with them from around the world’.
