National STEM ChallengeHoly Trinity Catholic Primary School, Sunbury, triumphed over 103 schools in the Bee’s Knees National STEM Challenge for 2024.

The winning team, the Sabrina Carpenter Bees (Maria, Sahasra and Kaitlyn), captivated the judges with their innovative approach to the challenge. They didn’t just meet expectations – they exceeded them by combining creativity, critical thinking and teamwork in a way that set their project apart.

Judges praised the students’ ability to connect science, design and storytelling, with their final video adding a compelling narrative and a perfectly chosen music overlay.

‘Holy Trinity Catholic Primary School exemplified what this challenge is all about: fostering a love for STEM, encouraging teamwork and inspiring real-world solutions’, said STEM Hub’s CEO Dr Jo Zimpel.

In recognition of the team’s achievement, Holy Trinity Catholic Primary School was honoured as a Champion School for Nurturing Tomorrow’s STEM Pioneers.
