While the whole country will be cheering on Australia’s Paralympians, a number of Catholic schools in the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ of Melbourne will have a little more to celebrate.

Five members of Australia’s team have a special connection to our schools. We congratulate each of them and hope that their achievements continue to inspire students everywhere:

  • Danni Di Toro, formerly of , Dandenong, will compete in Para-table tennis at her eighth Paralympic Games.
  • Ahmed Kelly, formerly of St Patrick’s Primary School, Kilmore, will be swimming at his fourth Paralympic Games.
  • Sam McIntosh, formerly of , Drysdale, and , Drysdale, will compete in Para-athletics at his fourth Paralympic Games.
  • Nathan Pellissier, formerly of , Williamstown, and , Altona North, will take inspiration from his silver medal win for Para-table tennis in Tokyo.
  • Ella Sabljak, formerly of MacKillop Catholic Regional College, Werribee, will compete in the wheelchair rugby competition.
