The Anzac spirit is alive and well

Learning continues this week as students and families create new and beautiful ways to celebrate Anzac Day.
Congratulations to Charlie from Prep at , Hadfield, who has worked with her Mum to generate interest in a driveway dawn service this Saturday. Charlie and her Mum wrote letters to their neighbours, informing them about running the service and asking for donations of milk cartons which they would turn into lanterns.
They have since made several and given them back to the neighbours, so they can host their own service on Saturday. A beautiful gesture!
Well done also to Donny, another Prep student from St Thomas More’s School, who along with his Mum has made Anzac biscuits and created an instructional video to help you make your own Anzac biscuits at home.
