Mixed netball state champions

The mixed netball team from , Blackburn, are Victoria’s school champions for the second year running.
The team, runners-up in and victors in , claimed the title last Friday at the Waverley Netball Centre. With coaching by Monique Curtis, a Year 5/6 teacher at the school, and her assistant coach Lyndal Klepac, the students were committed, practised hard and worked incredibly well as a team. Congratulations also to the team from , Ivanhoe West, the only other Catholic school in this division in the 2019 final, who were runners-up.
