Despite the colder weather, Catholic schools have a series of large events ahead to celebrate communities of learning.

  • National Science Week will take place from 12-20 August and the theme for schools this year is ‘Future Earth’. In addition to the many events taking place in Catholic schools, information for schools (and young scientists) is available on website.

  • Young readers are challenged to ‘escape to everywhere’ during the 2017 . School libraries will acknowledge the 5 winning titles for book of the year as well as other activities to celebrate reading and the power of story.

With National Child Protection Week in September and "Victorian student parliament" in August and September it’s a busy term for our schools. Keep an eye on the website and follow us on Twitter at to keep up with all the news.
