Postcodes of Hope

in Broadmeadows were delighted to host their local MP and former student, Frank McGuire, to launch their program Postcodes of Hope
and to announce a $300,000 grant from the state government towards a new STEAM learning centre.
The school has made the for its openness in welcoming families fleeing from conflict in Syria and Iraq, with both ABC News and Channel 9 telling the stories of some of the families who have arrived to call St Dominic’s home.
‘We continue this week to welcome more families – and our door will remain open to others,’ said principal Gayle Connor, ‘I only wish I could do more for them, but believe here at St Dominic's we welcome them with love, and continue to journey with them as they settle and find a new place they can call home.
