Role Description/Criteria
St Joseph's is a Catholic Edmund Rice Education Australia Boys' Secondary College, with an enrolment over 1800 students. This college community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. We aim to create a child-safe and child-friendly environment where children are free to enjoy life to the full without any concern for their safety. There is particular attention paid to the most vulnerable children, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, and children with a disability.
Mathematics Teacher - Full Time Ongoing
Commence 28 January 2025
The College is seeking a suitably passionate, qualified, experienced and innovative secondary Mathematics Teacher able to teach VCE for an ongoing position at the College.听 The ability to teach Religious Education would be an advantage.听
Teachers at St Joseph's College are employed to perform specific tasks as teachers of subjects and classroom administration. Each teacher brings one's own individuality to the job, and thus a plurality of teaching approaches naturally occurs.听
Within the context of a large organisation there is the need for each teacher to be consistent in the application of school procedures and policies.听 Teachers are expected to attend all relevant staff meetings and curriculum meetings.
